They’ve been married for two years and spent lockdown together.

And Chloe Madeley and her husband James Haskell looked happy to be out and about in sunny north London on Saturday as they enjoyed a low-key shopping trip.

The fitness enthusiast, 33, and the rugby star, 35, headed to the shops and a cafe during the outing where Chloe showed off her toned legs in tiny denim shorts.

She opted for a double denim look with the jacket and completed her stylish summer ensemble with white trainers and a black leather back pack.

Chloe wore her blonde tresses in loose waves over her shoulders and wore sunglasses while holding her iced coffee.

Meanwhile James looked casual in a white T-shirt and cream chinos as they pair hopped into their £195,000 Ferrari 488 GTB to head home after their trip out.

Earlier this year, Chloe revealed she and her husband James locked horns during the lockdowns and had their ‘biggest argument’ over their dog.

She was less than impressed when the rugby star brought home a pooch called Bert while they were stuck at home.

Speaking to Bella magazine, Chloe also admitted that while her work ‘skyrocketed’ amid the pandemic, James’ almost completely dried up.

She said: ‘That [the dog] has been our biggest argument in lockdown! I’m not a dog person at all… It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I don’t care!’

Chloe got a surprise when James showed her a photo of the Red Fox Labrador just before the second lockdown and then arrived home with him.

The media personality explained they took the dog in after his original owner got ill and Chloe has since become a ‘dog nut’.

Elsewhere, she told how the couple were among many in the country who experienced a decline in work due to the pandemic.

James, who does public speaking and DJing, saw virtually all of his work vanish as people were told to remain at home.

Personal trainer Chloe found the opposite happen to her as she could train her clients from home.

She said: ‘My work basically skyrocketed, so I was hell-bent on being on my own and sitting down to focus every day from breakfast until dinner. But James went the other way as everything that he does is public facing.

‘He went from being busy seven days a week to not having anything on. But it was lovely for him because, ever since he was a teenager, it’s been go, go, go 365 days a year.’

Chloe added that the free time gave James the ‘perspective’ he needed after working a hectic work schedule for so many years.
