Victoria Parliament is evacuated as politicians and staff are escorted to the car park

Victoria’s Parliament has been evacuated as MPs and staff are escorted to the car park awaiting further instruction.

MPs were later allowed to return inside the Spring Street building after firemen gave the all clear.
