One-time Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Yolanda Hadid has spread awareness about her journey with the disease since her 2012 diagnosis. Five years later, she penned the 2017 called Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease.

She told People earlier this year that she was doing well in living with the condition.

‘I’m better than I’ve been in a long time,’ said Hadid. ‘But as I’ve learned, there is no cure for chronic Lyme disease. Being in remission is an everyday blessing, and I pinch myself every morning.’

Last year, Real Housewives of New York City personality Ramona Singer said she had come down with Lyme disease last March after she was bitten by a tick at her Hamptons home.

Pop superstar Justin Bieber also opened up about his Lyme disease diagnosis last year.
