Shoppers are going mad for these $6 slippers from Kmart

Shoppers are going mad for these fluffy $6 slippers from Kmart – and they’re almost EXACTLY the same as a popular brand that costs $60

  • You can buy synthetic copies of EMU’s stylish Mayberry slippers for just $6
  • There are cheap copies of the slides available on The Iconic, at Seed and  Kmart
  • Many customers recommend the $59.95 wool pair which made the style iconic

Budget shoppers are in a frenzy over Kmart’s $6 slippers which look exactly like a pair of $59.95 slides from Australian company, EMU.

The iconic Mayberry slipper features a crossover design and is made from Australian sheepskin. It’s loved for its comfort as well as being stylish.

But while customers, including celebrities such as The Bachelor‘s Anna Heinrich, rave about the slipper, the premium price has put the item out of reach for those on a tighter budget.

Now Kmart  has released a synthetic version of the slipper which looks almost identical to the EMU branded design.

And it costs just $6, making it much more affordable for most people.

The Kmart copy isn’t the only cheaper version of the EMU staple, Seed has a $19.95 ‘crossover’ slipper which also looks very similar.

A similar design is also available by shoe brand, Spurr, who market them as ‘cloud slippers’ on The Iconic.

These are also synthetic and are the most expensive of the lookalikes, with a retail price of $34.99.

The Mayberry slippers by EMU are one of the company’s top sellers. Hundreds of customers have left five-star reviews, and there’s only seven one-star reviews.

Where can I get crossover-style slides?

‘I was concerned that this particular style may not keep my feet warm, boy was I WRONG,’ one woman wrote.

Before adding that she prefers the EMU slippers because her feet stay warm without sweating.

‘I plan on wearing my slippers year round, and when they’re ready to be replaced, I’ll be back for another pair,’ she said.

But many of the reviewers recommended people go up a size when they buy the EMU slippers as they appear to ‘run small’.
