A candidate for New York’s City Council has had a video of himself enjoying a sadomasochism session posted to Twitter.
Zack Weiner, 26, a screenwriter and actor, quickly fessed up to participating in the BDSM ritual and did not make any moves to dispel that notion that it wasn’t him who featured in the footage which was said to have been filmed 18 months ago.
‘My magnificent domme friend played with Upper West Side city council candidate Zack Weiner and I’m the only one who has the footage,’ read a tweet from an anonymous account which posted the video last week, but has since been suspended.

The video was posted onto Twitter and in the comments section for one of Weiner’s rally’s
The footage sees Weiner, gagged and unable to speak, while he is subjected to abuse by a leather-bound woman who can be seen pouring wax on him and clipping clothespins onto his nipples.
The footage was shot at Parthenon studio in Midtown, a venue known for its BDSM dungeons during a Halloween party in 2019.
‘I didn’t want anyone to see that, but here we are. I am not ashamed of the private video circulating of me on Twitter. This was a recreational activity that I did with my friend at the time, for fun. Like many young people, I have grown into a world where some of our most private moments have been documented online.’ Weiner said in a statement to the New York Post.

‘It’s definitely a violation of trust,’ he confirmed.
The original post has since been removed from Twitter but a screenshot was then posted onto his campaign’s Facebook page.
Weiner has barely featured in the race for the Upper West Side’s 6th District with his campaign having raised barely $10,000.
He faces well known names including Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer.
