  • Lomas rejected claims she had personally gotten rid of the unwanted PR gifts

Garbage with Australian fitness blogger Beck Lomas’ name on it has been found on a building site after being illegally dumped.

Builders in Melbourne found the discarded boxes which appeared to have been sent to the Instagram star from PR companies to promote their products.

The packages, which had Lomas’ name and address written on a sticker, were found by tradies in a bin on a construction site in the affluent suburb of Brighton on Wednesday morning.

‘Funnily enough some of the packaging had Beck Lomas’ name and address on it. We have some of the packaging for products she was promoting on her Instagram stories today such as Fiji Water and Kind-ly,’ construction company owner Matt Crawford told Pedestrian.

Lomas rejected claims she had personally gotten rid of the unwanted PR gifts, and said waste removal companies were responsible for the illegal dumping.

‘I was under the impression he was taking it to the tip. I’m trying to get to the bottom of it all myself now.’

Mr Crawford said illegal dumping is common in Victoria, and it adds an unnecessary burden to his business.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Ms Lomas for further comment.

Lomas came under fire during Melbourne’s stage four lockdown last August when she breached public health orders.

The 26-year-old boasted about doing ‘a couple of extra laps’ around the lake on Saturday while waiting for her boyfriend Josh Klein to set up her birthday surprise.

The Melburnian shared her activity online, telling her Instagram followers on her story she was going to run for ‘as long as I feel like’ after having already exercised in the morning – but at the time there was an hour limit on exercise outdoors.

Lomas was aiming to beat Klein in the Fitbit Couples Challenge, where participants try to outdo each other for the ‘most active minutes’ within six days.

Videos and screenshots showed her posing outside in activewear without a face mask, which was also against the rules at the time.

‘I’d like to express how sorry I am for what I’ve done,’ Lomas wrote in a public apology which she posted on Instagram.

‘I’m not going to make excuses for it or try to spin the situation to make it sound better than it was. I’m a human and I made a mistake.

‘I meant absolutely no harm to anyone however can now see the seriousness of the situation.’
