A home cook has shared her simple recipe for red velvet and white chocolate fudge.

She makes the fudge with four basic ingredients: a tin of condensed milk, two blocks of white chocolate, two tablespoons of butter and a bag of Allen’s Red Ripper lollies.

The woman posted her recipe in a Facebook cookery group, explaining how she melts all the ingredients in a slow cooker on a high heat with the lid off for one and a half hours.

Slow cookers are available for as little as $49 from discount department stores such as Kmart.

She said she stirs the mixture every 10 minutes until it has combined into a smooth liquid, then pours it into a pan lined with baking paper.

The woman then leaves the fudge to set in the fridge overnight before cutting it into bite-sized chunks and enjoying the following day – it’s that simple.

A photo of the fudge has sparked dozens of delighted responses since it was uploaded online, with many begging their friends to make it for them.

‘Would love this one,’ one woman wrote.

Another added: ‘Ummm hell to the yes.’

The fudge is the latest home recipe to take social media by storm.

Australians have also been drooling over a baker’s decadent vanilla slice pies made in a $20 Kmart pie maker.

The treats are made by self-taught chef Costadina, the founder of home bakery business ‘Oh My Gosh Desserts‘ in St Clair, 39 kilometres west of Sydney CBD.

In a post uploaded to Facebook on Wednesday night, Costadina said she made the sweets from a mixture of shortcrust and puff pastry left over from a batch of meat pies she made for her son.
