Australian singer G Flip celebrates Non Binary People’s Day with a gender reveal party for themselves

Australian singer Georgia Flipo, known professionally as G Flip, recently came out as non binary.

And this week, the hitmaker celebrated International Non Binary People’s Day with a gender reveal party for themselves.

However, instead of the usual pink or blue reveal, the 26-year-old popped a balloon that was filled with multi-coloured confetti to reflect their non-binary gender.

‘Happy International Non Binary People’s Day,’ they captioned the Instagram post.

‘Cheers to my friends for throwing me a gender reveal party,’ they added.

In an Instagram post last month, G Flip said they no longer go by the pronouns ‘she/her’ and will now be addressed as ‘they/them’ instead.

‘I’m non-binary motherf**kers,’ the 26-year-old declared to their 170,000 followers.

‘Big props to those who have been educating and advocating for the ENBY community the last few years,’ they continued.

‘Looking into what it means to be non-binary had me realise that that’s who I’ve been my entire life. Gonna use they/them pronouns from now on too.’

‘I’m still the exact same person, non-binary is just the best way to explain who I am and how I’ve always felt, like a gender smoothie…. also go Pies.’

‘I think that definitely prolonged me coming out. I feel like if I had role models to look up to, or if I heard female pronouns in songs, it would’ve just normalised it.’
