Jake Paul throws ANOTHER insult at Conor McGregor by saying Tyron Woodley is ‘more dangerous’

Jake Paul throws ANOTHER insult at Conor McGregor by claiming Tyron Woodley is a ‘lot more dangerous fighter’… but confirms talks of fight with The Notorious as he recovers from a broken leg

  • Jake Paul claimed Tyron Woodley is ‘more dangerous’ than Conor McGregor
  • The YouTube star has been calling out McGregor for a boxing match for months
  • Paul said talks are ongoing with McGregor’s team about a fight in the future

Jake Paul‘s relentless campaign calling out Conor McGregor continued as he slammed the Irishman as a weaker opponent than Tyron Woodley

Paul has pursued a boxing match with The Notorious for several months now, and is clearly pushing all the buttons he can to make it happen.

This is despite facing MMA star Woodley in a cruiserweight bout on August 29 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

The YouTube and internet star even suggested McGregor needed to face him in the ring as he was the only viable option financially, a backhanded dig at how far the Irishman’s star has fallen since his UFC 264 defeat to Dustin Poirier.

‘I think it will happen. Look, I mean, I’m the money fight for Conor McGregor right now,’ Paul told The Herd.

‘There is no other fighter right now who is on a bigger level than me that is calling out Conor McGregor and wants to fight Conor.

‘Our team is in touch with his team and there’s talks of it actually happening.

‘And people at first thought I was just joking when I said I wanted to fight him.

‘But now it’s as real as it gets, it’s more real than ever and by the way, if we do fight, I’m going to knock him out.’

Despite having only fought three previous boxing matches Paul, 24, is confident that he will defeat Woodley and went on to insult McGregor further by saying he will be the easier challenger.

‘I think Tyron Woodley is a harder opponent than Conor McGregor,’ Paul claimed.

‘Conor, I think the fame, the money has got to his head, he’s lost that fighters edge, that motivation. And look, he’s a smaller guy.

‘He’s five, what, eight? He’s 155-pounds, Tyron Woodley is a 200-pound, massive, explosive guy, so he’s a lot more dangerous fighter than Conor McGregor.’

Paul’s comments come after he sent Poirier a $100,000 diamond necklace mocking McGregor when the American beat him at UFC 264.
