Actor Noel Clarke, 45, QUITS his TV production company after 20 women accused him of sexual misconduct

Disgraced actor Noel Clarke has quit his TV production company following accusations of sexual misconduct from more than 20 women.
Clarke, 45, stood down as director of Unstoppable Film and Television Limited and also as a person of ‘significant control’ in charge of the company this week in the wake of the scandal.
He also quit his posts with another company called Crongton Knights, which had been set up to manage production of a BBC drama of the same name, and a company called Something in the Air, which he set up in November last year before his problems began to mount.
Clarke’s career was rocked in April when 20 women who knew him in a professional capacity made sexual harassment and bullying allegations in The Guardian newspaper.
He apologised ‘deeply’ for his actions and said he will be seeking professional help, but has ‘vehemently’ denied sexual misconduct or criminal behaviour.
Unstoppable Film and Television was set up by Clarke and Jason Maza in 2015 and had won backing from major TV production company ALL3 Media to fund their ideas for shows.

But in April the pair were suspended and the Companies House records show that they stepped down as directors and as ‘persons of significant control’ at the end of last week.
In July the BBC confirmed it was ditching the Crongton Knights TV drama which was based on a book by Alex Wheatle about life on a council estate in South London.
TV experts said any productions on the company’s books would be transferred to other labels in the ALL3 Group.
A spokesperson for All3 Media told Broadcast magazine: ‘Noel Clarke has left Unstoppable Film and TV. Jason Maza has also left the company.’
After the scandal broke Sky bosses cancelled the fourth season of Clarke’s hit drama series Bulletproof.
An ITV crime drama Viewpoint, which was on air when the scandal broke, also saw its final episode ditched.
Clarke had played Mickey Smith in Doctor Who, and Sam in the films Kidulthood, Adulthood, and Brotherhood, which he wrote and directed.
