Toddler creates beige masterpiece with mum’s new makeup

Cheeky toddler sneaks off and ‘paints the bathroom’ with his mum’s brand new makeup – after she got distracted feeding his baby brother

  • Mum-of-two Shanyn Hunter, 28, has shared a photo of her son’s new artwork
  • The creative piece was made using her new makeup and all bathroom surfaces
  • She initially called for a new toddler but has since decided to keep her own

A mum has revealed the moment she realised just how far a bottle of foundation can go – after her cheeky toddler Hudson decided to paint the family’s entire bathroom beige.

Shanyn Hunter, 28, from Queensland‘s Sunshine Coast thought her two-year-old son was watching Paw Patrol while she was feeding his baby brother.

But the toddler was on his own secret mission, making the most of his mum’s moment of distraction.

A mum has revealed the moment she realised just how far a bottle of foundation can spread – after her toddler decided to paint the family’s entire bathroom beige

‘He took the baby safe lock off my sink cupboard, took it from my make up bag and did that lovely foundation and concealer masterpiece in 20 minutes,’ she told FEMAIL.

To add insult to injury the masterpiece was created with Shanyn’s brand new makeup, which she had purchased two weeks ago and used just twice.

‘He watched me use it the other day and has had his eyes on it ever since,’ she explained.

And it wasn’t easy to clean.

‘It took my partner about 30 minutes to clean it all up,’ she said, noting she was ‘too sad’ to do the job.

‘Everyone says newborns are the easy stage and to wait until they are toddlers. I am starting to believe that,’ she said.

The Mac and Maybelline products had set Shanyn back $50, she said she will wait until after her wedding on August 20 to buy anymore.

The two-year-old in question has been described as a budding artist by the mum who also said he likes to use textas and pencils to draw on everything other than paper.

Shanyn posted a picture of the youngster’s creation on Facebook in a ‘laugh or cry’ moment following the incident.

‘Where can I get a new toddler? Mine is broken,’ she joked before clarifying she will be keeping Hudson after all.

‘Lucky he is cute,’ she added.

Her post was liked by hundreds of makeup lovers on the Facebook page.

‘This post is the most effective birth control I have ever had,’ one woman wrote attracting 44 likes of her own.

‘Mine is broken too, don’t worry,’ another frustrated mum said.

‘Mine is broken too and chucks epic tantrums, I wonder if there’s a swap and go option,’ added another.

Others said the makeup seemed to prove itself.

‘Great coverage on that floor though,’ laughed one.

Others shared photos of their own children covered in foundation and concealer after pulling similar stunts.

‘The only place he didn’t get it was on himself,’ Shanyn said.

One mum reassured Shanyn by telling her ‘at least it wasn’t poop’ spread across the house.
