Clarifications and corrections

An article on August 3 about rows leading to the resignation of five Vegan Society trustees said that a blog by one of the trustees, which described veganism as cultural appropriation, had ‘really stirred things up’. We are happy to clarify that this was not the reason for the resignations, and instead the trustees cited bullying and racism. We apologise for any confusion caused.
