‘Fillable cake stand, princess edition,’ the mum wrote alongside them.

She also showed exactly what she used to fill the inside of the cake stand.

The mum bought toddler Disney princess dolls to stand up along the outside before stuffing coloured shredded paper in the middle to fill out the centre.

She also bought a chain of $3 star-shaped fairy lights, which are battery operated, to light up the centre of the incredible display.

‘So simple but so effective. Great work it looks awesome,’ one mum said after seeing the post.

While another described the cake as ‘every little girl’s dream’.

The mum said the cake stand idea ended up being a ‘double win’ because her four-year-old also loves the dolls and has been playing with them ever since cutting the cake.

‘This was the inspo I needed for my daughters birthday coming up,’ another woman said.

While others said the mum deserved an award for the creative idea.

The cake itself was decorated with rainbow frosting, white drip icing, Tim Tams and Smarties.

The cake and fillable cake holder were placed on a wooden lazy Susan which finished off the presentation perfectly.

More than 400 mums liked the pictures of the cake and bombarded the mum with questions about where she bought everything for the stand.
